At Parent Safe Guard, we recognize that caregiving involves some of your family’s most personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency and care.

Information we collect

• Account information: Name, email address, password credentials, and subscription/billing details processed securely via our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Gumroad).
• Household & care data: Information you voluntarily enter into our tools, including home care notes, medication logs (DoseClear), family check-ins (VisitKit), authority records (RightsCircle), and documents stored in secure vaults (LegacyLock, PaperTrail). Much of this tool content is stored in your browser on your device unless a future sync feature is enabled.
• Usage data: Standard technical logs, IP addresses (including salted hashes for rate limits), device information, and browser types collected automatically to ensure system performance, security, and stability. Product analytics do not capture medication names, vault secrets, or form answers.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Parent Safe Guard suite and household features.
• To manage your account, process payments, and provide customer support.
• To support family coordination on household tools such as CareBoard when you choose to share access or handoffs with approved family members.
• We do not sell your personal data or your family’s care records to third parties or advertisers.

Data sharing & third parties

We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our service (such as hosting providers, database managers, and payment processors). All third-party providers are obligated to maintain strict data security and confidentiality consistent with their own policies and our agreements with them.

Data security & retention

We employ industry-standard security measures—including HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, and client-side encryption for LegacyLock vault entries—to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your login and vault passphrase.

You may request deletion of your account and associated server-stored data at any time by contacting us. Clearing your browser data removes locally stored tool content on that device.
